Biography
Nate Robinson is a serial entrepreneur and former professor of Organic (printed) Electronics at Linköping University. After getting his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (fluid dynamics) from Cornell University, he worked in technology transfer and high-volume manufacturing at Intel Corp. before moving to Sweden.
At Linköping University he developed several devices and manufacturing and production methods for printed (organic) electronics, many of which are patented. Along the way, he has attracted millions of dollars in research funding, been granted about a dozen patents, published several dozen papers (cited thousands of times), and helped to start several research-based companies.
He is one of the founders of LunaMicro AB, which is commercializing his research group’s latest patented technology: textile-like electroosmotic pumps.
