Biography

FORMBYTIME was established in 2013 in Vienna by Leonhard Peschta and his father Michael Peschta. The family heritage is steeped in the jewellery making tradition and now spans three generations of jewellers.
Leonhard Peschta, a Media Arts graduate from the University of applied science in Vienna has got a vast experience in building machines within an artistic context.

FORMBYTIME - The Collection

The company makes use of precious metals and electronic elements to produce sophisticated electromechanical jewellery. Each piece can change its shape, capturing the aesthetics of motion and allowing the wearer to interact with the jewellery. The jewellery is connected to the wearer’s mobile device via Bluetooth. Each piece is designed and produced in the family’s jewellery studio in Vienna. They are made of precious metals and are connected to the wearer’s mobile device via Bluetooth.The jewellery objects represent the attempt to expand the idea of jewellery by incorporating the possibility of movement.
The first collection is available in platinum- or gold-plated sterling silver, special wishes can be considered. Each piece has an incorporated battery and logic board and is delivered with a charger.
