The cooperative research project MYOW has the objecive to connect designers, makers, service providers and manufacturers in a digital enriched service space. This new service space will provide various services to support the design, prototyping, and creation of innovative wearables. This will include a Web based application with a graphical user interface, that allows the interactive selection and combination of network sensors, devices and textiles. A match making system will help wearable designers to find and combine sensors, actuators, devices due to the requirements of specific consumers. The new business models developed in the project will allow to regulate the co-production and also support the extension of the portfolio already offered by a provider. This should enable the creation of new products and also support the step from private DIY (do it yourself) making to the foundation of a start-up company.
