Biography
Charles is a General engineer with two MSc. Degree and 6 years of experience in the tech startup world. Using new sensor technology, he has built a series of wearables able to measure accurately breathing in all contexts: on sportspeople, on people with chronic pulmonary diseases and even animals. Today, his original company has given birth to two other companies, StepUp Health (stepuphealth.dk) dedicated to helping people with COPD manage their condition better, and StepUp Horse (stepuphorse.com) dedicated to train racehorses better and improve their wellbeing, an increasing concern in the field.
He is currently serving as the CEO of StepUp Solutions and CTO of StepUp Horse and StepUp Health. StepUp Solutions is the original company that developed the technology stack of breathing monitoring using a new type of sensor technology and also work as a contractor on some other sensor-based projects. Today, he is focusing on making a success out of StepUp Horse – a wearable for racehorses using the same breathing-based tech stack.
