Camil Moldoveanu is a serial IT entrepreneur and former professional athlete. He founded his first company, an IT outsourcing company in 2006. During the same time, Camil was competing as a professional athlete. During his career as an athlete, he won four World and six European Championships.
In 2015 Camil was injured during the final of the World Championship. After an apparently successful recovery, he returned to Jiu Jitsu, only to soon suffer another injury. It was only then he learned that he made a mistake many made before him, he had not entirely finished physical therapy and then he was forced to do a complex meniscus knee surgery with another 8 months of physical therapy.
This experience inspired Camil to use the technology he and his co-founder were working on, to create re.flex- Recovery made simple. Back to the business life, his previous experience as an entrepreneur and a professional athlete helped Camil to push his idea forward, find investors and strong strategic partners to build this new venture.
