Biography

Ali K. Yetisen is a Senior Lecturer and an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. He researches chemical sensors, biophotonics, wearable devices, and personalised medicine. He was previously a Tosteson postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge. He has been awarded several international prizes including Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, Carl Friedrich von Siemens Fellowship, Roche Continents Award, and Ann & Norman Hilberry Fellowship. Dr. Yetisen has been the driving force for the establishment of four spin-off companies in the United States, UK and Germany.
