Biography
After a PhD in the discovery of oncogenes, I worked in the embryonic biotechnology industry, first at Genentech and then at Celltech in the UK. As the global industry developed I focused on commercial challenges, studying for an MBA at Cambridge before joining a private equity fund to help establish start-ups. I became a consultant to the UK government’s international business arm, driving investment from overseas into the UK. I set up my own consultancy before joining Plextek to build their healthcare business, working with a huge range of talented people in innovative medical device organizations.
