Biography
Hugo is a researcher at the IT – Instituto de Telecomunicações and co-founder of biomedical device company PLUX – Wireless Biosignals, S.A.. Lately, he has been actively working (i.e. having fun) towards making the world a bit more physiological through BITalino, an open source software and low-cost hardware toolkit, that allows anyone to create innovative applications using biosignals. His main interest areas include biomedical systems engineering, signal processing, and machine learning.
